For a production evaluation, list the models you need, the traffic shape, replica count, region, scaling behavior, and reliability target. Estimate the monthly cost at both normal and peak load. Then run a pilot that tests latency, deployment changes, and failure recovery. Nothing in the official serving documentation supports a scam allegation; the main question is whether this infrastructure is more than your team needs.
