OpenAI made the Decisions API generally available on October 22. Built with GPT-6 Luna, it accepts text, images, and structured inputs to answer narrowly defined questions.
The release adds native GPT-Live integration, prompt caching, US and EU inference residency, and support for up to 400 questions in a request. OpenAI’s latency comparisons refer to its own API measurements.
