Fix the outline before the AI makes the whole video
Gemini Notebook adds a review step for slides and video overviews, giving users more control before rendering.

What happened
Google announced a more guided creation flow for Gemini Notebook on October 19. Starting from a notebook’s sources, users can ask for slides or a video overview, confirm proposed topics, and guide the style and format.
An optional Review toggle exposes outline notes for slides or producer notes for videos. Users can request changes before selecting Proceed. The existing quick-generation route remains available. Google says the capabilities are rolling out globally to all Gemini Notebook users over the following week; the announcement does not mean every account received them immediately.
What this means for you · Roseram analysis
Our take: the cheapest moment to fix a story is before the visuals and narration are finished. A review stage gives a teacher, founder, or creator a chance to remove a weak claim or reorder an explanation while the structure is still easy to change.
For a first project, use a short set of sources you know well. Ask for one clear audience and one central point. Check the proposed outline against those sources, then inspect the finished output too. Approving a plan does not ensure every generated slide or scene will be accurate.
