CUSTOMER ACCOUNT / ATTRIBUTED EVIDENCE
What this case establishes
This is a commercial publisher’s customer account. Roseram checked the source and wrote the analysis; it did not interview the customer, run the product, audit the figures or establish that AI caused the reported business result. The pilot below is a proposal, not a completed experiment.

Lovable: the documented workflow
Anthropic’s Lovable story describes conversational application creation and an evaluation process that measures broken or off-brief output across model releases. It attributes project and revenue milestones to the company. Those reported business figures are not proof that every project works or that a new builder will reproduce the same growth.
The mechanism worth examining
A conversational builder must infer enough design to be helpful without drifting away from the requested task. Acceptance therefore needs two dimensions: does the application run, and does it solve the specified problem? A technically valid page can fail intent. Keep the original brief attached to the result and evaluate the completed customer path instead of rewarding a visual resemblance to a requested design.
The implementation decision
Write a short brief with the audience, core action and one constraint. Provide representative examples of valid and invalid use. Choose whether reversible design defaults may be made automatically and which material questions require clarification. A useful trial does not need exhaustive requirements, but it needs enough to distinguish a reasonable implementation from a polished unrelated application.
Where the workflow can fail
A generated app may place the desired button on screen but omit the data path behind it. It may also satisfy a new instruction by deleting a feature the user relied on. Test a follow-up edit that should preserve existing behavior. A screen capture or successful compilation cannot establish that a customer can complete the task or that the deployment remains consistent after revision.
A practical evaluation, designed for this use case
Use several distinct small briefs, each with prewritten acceptance cases. Have a fresh reviewer perform the task without coaching and classify defects as runtime, intent, usability or configuration failures. Include discarded attempts and clarification time. The result should show which classes of request are reliably served rather than one hand-selected prompt that produced an attractive demo.

The decision matrix
Original evaluation criteria for this workflow. These are questions to test, not results measured by Roseram.
| Decision | Evidence to collect | Stop or revise when |
|---|---|---|
| Intent fit | Core customer task completed | Running output solves a different problem |
| Evaluation coverage | Failed attempts included | Only attractive demonstrations are reported |
| Iteration quality | Protected behavior survives edits | Follow-up prompts silently remove features |

Questions this case answers
Does project count measure working applications?
No. Creation, active use, correctness and customer value are separate measurements.
Should every detail be specified before generation?
No, but the user’s core goal and non-negotiable constraints must be clear enough to judge the result.

Wiki brief
Lovable is examined here for evaluating conversational software output. The article answers “How do you measure whether a prompt-to-app tool delivers what was requested?” using linked primary material and original evaluation design. It is not a customer testimonial for Roseram or an endorsement by Lovable.
Operator takeaways
- Measure intent and runtime separately.
- Include failed attempts.
- Test stable iteration.
