CUSTOMER ACCOUNT / ATTRIBUTED EVIDENCE
What this case establishes
This is a commercial publisher’s customer account. Roseram checked the source and wrote the analysis; it did not interview the customer, run the product, audit the figures or establish that AI caused the reported business result. The pilot below is a proposal, not a completed experiment.

Bubble: the documented workflow
Anthropic’s Bubble account describes an AI agent building applications in Bubble’s visual development language so users can alternate between conversation and visual editing. It reports activation and satisfaction improvements after model changes. Those are attributed behavioral measures, not proof that every generated workflow is correct or portable to another platform.
The mechanism worth examining
A visual representation gives a nontechnical user another way to inspect and change the system when a prompt becomes ambiguous. The important feature is consistency: a rule changed through chat should appear in the visual workflow, and a manual edit should remain part of the next agent request. Otherwise the interface offers two competing versions of the application rather than two views of the same state.
The implementation decision
Choose a workflow where the user needs to inspect a condition, such as who can approve a request. Ask the agent to create it, then revise the condition through the visual editor. Return to the conversation and request a small extension. Check that the manual change is preserved. Decide what exports, platform dependencies and runtime limitations are acceptable before committing a business process to the builder.
Where the workflow can fail
The agent may rely on stale state and overwrite the user’s visual edit. A workflow can also look correct while access rules are enforced only in the interface. Test the server/data boundary separately. When a proprietary visual language is involved, do not promise source portability or a framework migration without inspecting the actual available export and deployment options.
A practical evaluation, designed for this use case
Record a round trip from prompt to visual edit to prompt, with a protected authorization condition. Exercise the resulting task under two identities and confirm the state remains consistent across surfaces. Measure the user’s ability to explain and maintain the workflow, plus any corrections. Activation rates provide context but do not replace this state-consistency check.

The decision matrix
Original evaluation criteria for this workflow. These are questions to test, not results measured by Roseram.
| Decision | Evidence to collect | Stop or revise when |
|---|---|---|
| Shared state | Manual edits survive agent requests | Chat reconstructs an older workflow |
| Rule enforcement | Two-user data checks | Visibility controls substitute for authorization |
| Ownership choice | Platform/export limits understood | Portability is assumed without evidence |

Questions this case answers
Why retain a visual editor beside AI chat?
It can provide a concrete inspection and maintenance path when natural-language instructions are insufficient.
Does visual access control prove backend security?
No. The data and service authorization must also be verified.

Wiki brief
Bubble is examined here for ai generation with a visual editing fallback. The article answers “Why does an AI app builder still need an understandable editor?” using linked primary material and original evaluation design. It is not a customer testimonial for Roseram or an endorsement by Bubble.
Operator takeaways
- Keep one source of application state.
- Test agent/manual round trips.
- Review platform dependence deliberately.
