Verify email → daily allowance

1. Create your account (trial or paid path via launch).
2. Open Usage & Billing (or the verify banner).
3. Verify your email.

Once verified, you receive up to $25 in usage allowance each UTC day.

Rules you should memorize

Live usage dashboard

While you work you should see usage / spend signals (tokens or dollar-style metering as shown in-product). Treat the dashboard as part of the workflow — especially on agentic tasks.

Hard spend limits & auto top-ups

• Set hard spend limits so you are not surprised
• Enable optional auto top-ups only if you understand the increment
• Disable or lower limits anytime you want less risk

How this interacts with Plus / Pro

Subscription (Plus/Pro) is the base plan. Usage depends on models, context, and task volume. We do not market “$5 = same included compute as Cursor Pro.” Compare your real workload on the meter.

If you hit the daily allowance

• Wait for the next UTC day, or
• Use top-ups / billing options shown in Usage & Billing (per site terms), or
• Lower model/effort settings for remaining work
