FREE LESSON 8 OF 8 · BEGINNER
Launch a small site and watch it
Put the pieces together: a page, payments, feedback, and care.
Check the whole trip
Follow a visitor from the link to the page and next action. Check the title, words, images, form, and reply. Use real production settings only after testing. Keep a working version you can return to.
If you sell, show the offer, price, delivery terms, and help contact. A hosted checkout such as Stripe Payment Links can reduce the code you need. It still has fees, account rules, and local business duties.
Watch and care for the site
Check that the public page loads and that forms reach the right place. Count useful actions without collecting extra private data. Watch error logs and hosting costs. Keep tools and packages up to date.
Git holds code history. Hosting puts the app online. A push may trigger a deploy if the host is set up that way. Confirm the deployed version and live result; a successful push alone is not proof that the site works.
Try these steps
- Check the page, form, keyboard, and phone layout.
- Try payments in the provider’s test mode before a real sale.
- Publish, open the live address, and record the first small test.
A real-world example
A page sells a downloadable guide. Test delivery, support, and a refund path as well as the checkout. For a first idea test, a clear feedback page may be enough before adding any payment.
Ask AI for help

Make a launch checklist for ___. Include live links, forms, test payments if needed, privacy, phone layout, error checks, costs, and a rollback plan.
Your turn
Write a launch checklist and one week of small follow-up checks.
