CUSTOMER ACCOUNT / ATTRIBUTED EVIDENCE
What this case establishes
This is a commercial publisher’s customer account. Roseram checked the source and wrote the analysis; it did not interview the customer, run the product, audit the figures or establish that AI caused the reported business result. The pilot below is a proposal, not a completed experiment.

Tidio: the documented workflow
Anthropic’s Tidio story describes Lyro using Claude for customer-service automation and reports separate outcomes for Tidio’s own support and customer deployments. The published upper-end automation language is not the same as an average for every store. Roseram did not test the product or verify those customer populations.
The mechanism worth examining
Store support has useful repeatable questions—shipping regions, returns and product details—but the answer changes with policy version and order status. Ground routine information in approved material and fetch account data only after appropriate identity checks. A clear boundary between general policy and a specific customer decision reduces the risk of a bot promising something the merchant cannot fulfill.
The implementation decision
Begin with general policy questions and preserve an order-specific human route. Review the knowledge source whenever fulfillment or return terms change. Choose a narrow eligible category and record its total volume. Test how the system responds to an unusual destination, an expired return window and a missing order record before broadening coverage.
Where the workflow can fail
Old policy content can remain in a knowledge index after the storefront has changed. A bot may invent an estimated delivery date from a generic transit range. Make dates and exceptions explicit, and do not report an order action without a verified result. Check repeat contacts and complaints after automated closure to distinguish useful resolution from abandoned conversations.
A practical evaluation, designed for this use case
Build fixtures from current approved store policies, including ambiguous and unsupported cases. Compare the answers with merchant review and track escalation context. In a controlled pilot, measure eligible resolution and repeat-contact behavior by question type. Include knowledge-maintenance effort in the budget rather than assuming automation eliminates the work of keeping the store’s facts current.

The decision matrix
Original evaluation criteria for this workflow. These are questions to test, not results measured by Roseram.
| Decision | Evidence to collect | Stop or revise when |
|---|---|---|
| Policy freshness | Version and effective date known | Old return terms remain answerable |
| Order authority | Identity and tool result verified | Generic ranges become promised dates |
| Coverage | Eligible categories separately measured | Upper-end automation becomes a guarantee |

Questions this case answers
Can every store expect the same automation rate?
No. Policy quality, question mix and exception handling differ.
Does a generic shipping answer verify an order date?
No. Order-specific facts require authorized current data.
