CUSTOMER ACCOUNT / ATTRIBUTED EVIDENCE
What this case establishes
This is a commercial publisher’s customer account. Roseram checked the source and wrote the analysis; it did not interview the customer, run the product, audit the figures or establish that AI caused the reported business result. The pilot below is a proposal, not a completed experiment.

CodeWords: the documented workflow
Anthropic’s CodeWords account describes Agemo’s platform helping nontechnical users create integrations and automations through conversation. It reports improved first-session completion and shorter build times after a model change. The outcome is a reported product measure; it does not establish that every generated automation is production-ready or authorized to act on all connected services.
The mechanism worth examining
A conversation reduces the need to draw a flowchart, but it does not eliminate the underlying decisions. Someone must choose a trigger, data source, condition, action and owner. A good interface elicits those decisions in ordinary language and presents the resulting contract before activation. The user should be able to explain what will happen without reading generated code.
The implementation decision
Begin with a read-only summary or draft, then consider a reversible write after its inputs are verified. Define which identity the workflow runs under and whether repeated events can duplicate an action. Use test accounts and harmless fixtures. A successful first session should mean the user understands and verifies the automation, not merely that a workflow object was created.
Where the workflow can fail
A vague instruction such as “follow up with leads” can hide consent, timing, audience and message-delivery decisions. An agent may choose broad permissions because they simplify implementation. Require a readable action summary and an explicit activation step for external writes. Test absent data, provider timeouts and duplicate triggers before relying on the workflow for customer-facing operations.
A practical evaluation, designed for this use case
Give a nontechnical participant a bounded task: prepare an internal digest from two approved test sources. Ask them to describe the resulting trigger and data path, then run representative and failure fixtures. Add a duplicate event and check idempotency. Measure verified task completion, clarification quality and recovery, while keeping the source’s first-session headline clearly attributed.

The decision matrix
Original evaluation criteria for this workflow. These are questions to test, not results measured by Roseram.
| Decision | Evidence to collect | Stop or revise when |
|---|---|---|
| User understanding | Trigger and actions explainable | A workflow exists but its effect is unclear |
| Permissions | Least required account scopes | Broad access is granted for convenience |
| Repeat behavior | Duplicate event handled deliberately | A retry sends or writes twice |

Questions this case answers
Does conversational setup mean no technical decisions remain?
No. The interface can make them clearer, but triggers, permissions, data and failure handling still need to be decided.
What should first-session success mean?
A verified task whose effects the user understands, rather than simply a generated automation object.
