FREE LESSON 1 OF 8 · BEGINNER
Start with a clear plan
Bring a small idea into Workspace without getting lost.
Tell the agent what good looks like
Write who the page is for, what it must do, and what it must not do. Give facts the agent can use. A clear brief saves time and makes the result easier to check.
In Plan, shape the steps. In Chat, ask questions and learn. In Build, ask for file changes. Review the proposed work. A model can still be wrong even when the answer sounds sure.
Know your source
A new project, a local folder, and a Git repository are different starting points. Check which one you opened. Note the branch when using a repository. Keep a copy or commit before a large change.
A preview is a place to try the result. It is not the same as publishing a site. Imports may need packages, settings, or a runtime before they can run. Read the status and diagnostics when a preview fails.
Try these steps
- Write a small brief and choose the right source.
- Ask Plan for steps, then use Build for one change.
- Review the files and test the preview.
A real-world example
First brief: “Make a mobile-friendly price page for a dog walker. Use these three services. Add one contact button. Do not add checkout yet.”
Ask AI for help
Copy this prompt into the tool you use. Fill in the blanks. Check what it gives you.
Plan a small page for ___. Use these facts: ___. Tell me which files you will change, what I need to provide, and how I can test the result.
Your turn
Write your project brief. Include one thing that is outside the first version.
