Co-Intelligence: reader fit and buying questions
“SCAM Reviews” is our category for examining claims, not a fraud finding. We inspected the public pages listed below, not the complete book, and conducted no reader trial. Roseram publishes and sells its own books; this is a commercial publisher’s assessment, not an independent customer review.
Quick assessment
Co-Intelligence is a general-interest book about living and working with AI. Evaluate that scope separately from a version-specific software manual. We inspected the publisher page, not the complete manuscript, and have not benchmarked the author’s advice or tested its effect on workplace outcomes.
Check the edition date before expecting current instructions
The publisher lists a 2024 edition and describes the book’s AI focus. Our buyer question is whether you want durable ways to think about a tool or exact instructions for today’s interface. A publication date alone does not prove advice is obsolete, but it is a reason to verify procedural details against current official documentation.
Reference and scope: Penguin Random House — Co-Intelligence. Reader-fit questions are Roseram’s analysis, not findings from a full-book test.
Test the work you need rather than borrowing enthusiasm
Before buying an AI guide, write one task you perform repeatedly and define an acceptable result. A useful evaluation could compare a synthetic trial with your existing method, counting review effort as well as initial drafting time. This is Roseram’s suggested evaluation approach. We have not performed that comparison for the book or established that it teaches this exact process.

A book purchase does not establish a deployment decision
For an organization, separate reading and experimentation from permission to connect private data or automate actions. Ask who reviews outputs, which actions remain human decisions and how errors are detected. These are questions for evaluating your own adoption plan, not allegations about omissions in a manuscript we have not fully reviewed.

Questions readers ask
Is Co-Intelligence a scam?
Nothing in the publisher material inspected supports a fraud finding. SCAM Reviews names our claim-checking category, not an accusation against Ethan Mollick.
Does this review compare current AI model performance?
No. No model benchmark, account test or workplace trial was performed. Consult current official product documentation for specific capabilities and access conditions.
